Andreas Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning’s “Gift of Warmth” Annual Heater Giveaway

As we wrap up 2024, we are deeply grateful for your loyalty and support. To show our appreciation, we want to give back by ensuring someone enjoys a warm and reliable winter, not just this year, but for many years to come.

Please help us make a difference and nominate a deserving individual or family who could benefit from a new heating system this year!

Who Is Eligible?
The individual or family in need (the nominee) should be someone deserving of a new heating system for their home and is currently experiencing: tough financial times, an illness in the family & multiple medical bills, or a job loss. A senior on a fixed income, a U.S. Veteran, or a single parent with children is also eligible. The nominee/candidate must be a Pennsylvania resident and homeowner, 18 years of age or older. You may not nominate yourself. Read more about eligibility requirements.

The entry period is now open! You may submit your nominations until Sunday, December 1, 2024, at 11:59 p.m.

How to Enter:
Submit your nomination by completing the entry form on this page and including either: a 500 word written essay OR the YouTube or Vimeo video URL address of your 3-minute video essay (note that you must upload your video to YouTube or Vimeo in order to obtain a video URL to share)
Click the “Submit” button

Entry Submission & Confirmation:
Upon submission, you will receive one (1) entry into the Giveaway and will receive a confirmation that your entry has been successfully submitted. You are limited to 1 entry per nominee. Read more in our Official Giveaway Rules.

What Your Essay/Video Content Should Include:
Your essay should be a compelling, true story of why your nominee in need is deserving of a new heating system in accordance with our judging criteria below. Any entries that do not follow these guidelines will not be accepted, eligible, or considered. Note that you MAY NOT nominate yourself.

Judging Criteria:
The Giveaway Judging Committee will judge eligible on the following criteria: 

• Is the entry a true, compelling story that explains why the nominee in need is deserving of a new heating
  System?
• What is his/her personal circumstance?
• Is the person selfless? 
• Does he/she willingly help others or volunteer in the community?
• Has this person served our country?

• Does he/she currently spend a lot of money on heating fuel or cannot afford a good, quality heating system to replace an old or inefficient system?

Determination of Finalists and Winner:
Depending on the quality and validity of submitted entries, the Giveaway Judging Committee will choose no less than two (2) and no more than three (3) finalists on or about December 4, 2024.

Between December 4th and 10th, finalists will be notified by telephone, so that an owner of Andreas Plumbing can schedule and conduct a personal interview with each of the finalists at their locations. The (“Winner”) is the Nominee whose entry submitted by the Entrant receives the highest score by the judges during initial judging and by the owners of Andreas Plumbing during the interview process. The final decision of the chosen winner is at the absolute discretion of the Judging Committee and the owners of Andreas Plumbing. 

The Winner will be selected and notified by phone on or about Monday, December 9, 2024 to confirm acceptance of the awarded prize.
